Invincible

Have you ever climbed “a mountain”, and when you reached “the top”, that feeling…..? I’m not a mountain climber in actuality, but I’ve had my own “mountains” to climb.

To others my mountains are probably mole hills, but you know what? I don’t care. I’m me, there is only one me, and no one else has walked my journey but me!

I wanted to design a quilt that reflected that unique feeling of accomplishment. That is how “Invincible” came about. A deceivingly simple quilt, that when finished, I hope it gives you that boost up that helps you feel like you’ve climbed one of your own big “mountains”.

One seam flying geese was a technique that I learned from Ricky Tims in 2014, in his studio when I was designing my Last Goodbye quilt. I’ve been chomping at the bit to make this into a larger block for quite awhile. Its such a fun and quick block that you will have this done in no time.

Don’t be intimidated by this quilt! It really is simple. The easy to use charts will help keep your fabric organized, and it probably would be simple to add to it if you want a bigger quilt.
